Closing of the Sixth International Seminar on Performance Auditing
Beijing – The visiting Iranian delegation to China attended the closing ceremony of the Sixth INTOSAI Performance Auditing Seminar on Tuesday 14th April 2010

Dr. Abdol Reza Rahmani Fazli, honourable Senior President of the Supreme Audit Court of Iran led the visiting Iranian Delegation to Beijing, China. At this Seminar 16 Country Papers were presented. The papers focused on the projects and activities conducted to electronically monitor the public institutions of the state and the performance of these projects and programs.
Country papers of the SAIs of Canada, Brazil, Sweden, Kuwait, Norway, Japan, Colombia, Poland, Iraq, Indonesia, India, China and Australia were delivered during the Seminar.
Electronic monitoring and Information security, Performance indicators of IT project investment affectivity, In search of a state IT Audit Paradigm, Using IT as a method of Control over public contracting were some of the titles of the papers presented during the two day Seminar.
It is reported that the country paper of the Supreme Audit Court of Iran "Performance Auditing procedure of the Supreme Audit Court of Iran" was also presented and will in due course be published in a special issue along with other papers presented in the Seminar. Following this Seminar, the 19th Meeting of the INTOSAI Working Group on IT Audit was held in Beijing on Wednesday and Thursday 15th and 16th of April 2010. Besides attending the two general events during the one week visit, Dr. Abdol Reza Rahmani Fazli, Senior President of the Supreme Audit Court of Iran, found the opportunity to meet with a number of the Heads of SAIs and to discuss the possible ways of extending mutual cooperation and exchange of experience.
The Iranian delegation greatly benefited from the experience of the INTOSAI WGITA member SAIs and offered its own experience on the prevention of violation of the financial law.
